With the continuation of digital technologies Reel Moments is happy to offer DVD encoding services. DVD's created in Reel Moments digital studio are all high quality, Hollywood style disks. Using both the DVD+R and DVD-R formats to insure 100% compatibility we are able to offer everything from Basic encode to multi-level authoring.

Basic Encode

Basic Encode works just like your VHS tape with subtle differences. First and foremost, since it is digital, the quality will never degrade like a VHS tape. While you can fast-forward and rewind like on a standard VCR, with basic encode, we place chapter markers at regular intervals based on length of project that allow you to jump faster through your video.

Multi-Level Authoring

Like a basic encode, Multi-Level Authoring or MLA is a 100% digital transfer. The significant difference between the two has to deal with menus and chapter points. MLA allows you to find the scene you want and go to it directly from an interactive picture menu when you first put the disk in your DVD player.

MLA can also feature other advantages over basic encoding including moving menus and interactive sound clips.
